At Bailey Botanicals, I pride myself on all-natural growing practices. No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers are used. I am a low-till operation, meaning I only break out the tiller when completely necessary to maintain soil structure.
I make use of the mild winters in South Arkansas, and begin planting cold hardy flowers and vegetables in the field in early February. Some crops are even planted in the fall to overwinter in the field! I use low tunnels, which are essentially tiny unheated greenhouses covering individual beds. I have a diverse crop plan, ranging from winter greens, to spring flowers, to heirloom tomatoes and summer vegetables.
By trade, I am a plant science student at Southern Arkansas University. In my studies, I have learned how to properly manage soil health and plant nutrition. I am set to graduate in December of 2026. I truly love my degree. I am fascinated by the complexities of plant and soil health down to a microscopic level! I'll be working on sharing more from my education for my fellow plant nerds.
You can find Emily at the Farmers' Market in El Dorado, Arkansas during the growing season. More details on my plans for 2026 will be announced soon!

From time to time, I take on small event work.
While I am building my portfolio, I am offering special pricing for certain events. These would be perfect opportunities for the easy going bride who favors the loose, wildflower feel. If you have a small June wedding or a mid-May bridal or baby shower coming up, please reach out!
If you are the DIY kind or planning a bouquet bar, this is perfect for you! I am able to offer flowers by the bucket on a case by case basis. Please reach out at least one week in advance of your event. For bulk buckets, you are welcome to provide a general color theme, and I will try my best to match it. Buckets consist of a balance of focal flowers, accent flowers, fillers and greenery unless otherwise specified. Pricing varies by season and availability!
Farm Share customers are essentially the farm's investors. They buy a portion of my harvests in advance. This offsets the necessary investments that take place in the winter months. This is the seed orders and supplies that make a bountiful season possible. Farm share members are guaranteed fresh, homegrown produce or flowers. No more showing up to market after I've sold out! My subscriptions are filled first, before I do anything else. There's a few more perks to being a farm share member, too!
For more information on upcoming subscriptions, see the Farm share tab.
I'm Emily Murphy. I started Bailey Botanicals in 2022 after I graduated from Smackover High School! Back then, it was just houseplants and succulents. I decided to grow my own wedding flowers in 2023 and fell in love with the garden. I've been growing ever since. Now, I've expanded to a diverse cut flower and vegetable farm!
I am a senior at Southern Arkansas University where I'm majoring in plant science. I truly love my degree. Agriculture is the backbone of our lives, and I'm thankful to be in a position to provide wholesome, fresh produce and flowers to my local community.
